Shiny baubles Christmas tree card
Decorating the Christmas tree is probably my favourite part of the festive season and I especially love the combination of red and silver baubles. So this card is my homage to those shiny little jewels so many of us hang on our tree.
It is an A6 card made from GF Smith Colorplan Cool Grey and features an original linocut print of a Christmas tree full of baubles, hand drawn, carved and printed by me using Ironbridge Fine Arts blue-black ink. The red and silver baubles are cut by my Cricut. The card comes with a matching envelope and is blank inside for your own message.
I will post your card in a compostable sleeve and board-backed envelope to protect it.
Printmaking with lino is a manual craft that requires specialist tools and inks.
The nature of the process means that each card is slightly different and may feature some speckling in the ink. It is part of what makes this artform so beautiful. Please note there may be slight variations from the card in the photo.
